Glass armour
Windshield protection film in Winter Springs
Clear film on the glass, so road debris hits the film instead of your windshield.
Chapter 01
The glass takes the same gravel as the paint
Everything that peppers your hood also meets the windshield first: stones kicked up on the highway, grit from the truck ahead, sand and debris after a storm. A chip in the glass can stay put for weeks, or it can run into a crack the next time the temperature swings.
A replacement is rarely a small bill, and on newer cars it can mean more than glass. Vehicles with driver assistance cameras may need their safety systems recalibrated after a new windshield, which adds time and cost. Protecting the glass you have is cheaper than replacing it.

Optically clear film, laid on prepped glass
We begin by inspecting the windshield for existing chips, cracks, pitting or distortion, because film belongs on glass that is in suitable shape. The glass is then cleaned and prepped, since clarity and adhesion depend on a clean surface.
STEK windshield protection film is positioned, smoothed and aligned across the glass so coverage is complete without bubbles or distortion. After it sets, we do a final check on clarity, adhesion and finish before the car goes back to you. Every job happens at our shop at 1270 Belle Ave in Winter Springs.
Chapter 03
What the film does, and what to pair it with
Film cannot promise the glass will never crack, and we will not tell you it does. What it does is take the impacts that would otherwise chip the windshield, cut down surface scratching and block UV. Pricing is quoted per vehicle, so call (407) 337-5292 with the year and model.
It works best as part of the full front end: paint protection film covers the hood, bumper and mirrors, and this covers the glass above them. If heat is your problem instead, that is a different product. Ceramic windshield tint is a separate service with its own price, compared below.

Two products, two jobs
Protection film or windshield tint?
Customers often ask whether one covers the other. It does not. Here is how they differ, side by side.
| Feature | Protection film | Ceramic tint |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | Clear STEK protection film made for automotive glass. | Union ceramic film, the only type we put on a windshield. |
| What it is for | Taking the hit from road debris so the glass does not. | Cutting heat and UV coming through the glass. |
| Impact and scratches | Absorbs impact and reduces surface scratching. | Not what it is sold for. |
| Heat and UV | Blocks UV as a side benefit. | The main job, and why people choose ceramic. |
| Price | Quoted per vehicle. | $325 on its own, or $225 with another package. |
| Rules | Clear film, no tint level to worry about. | Florida sets limits, and we go through them for your car before we cut. |

Straight answers
Windshield film questions.
Will the film affect my view through the glass?
No. The film is optically clear and made for automotive glass. Installed correctly, it does not distort what you see or get in the way at night or in the rain.
Can it stop cracks completely?
No film makes glass unbreakable. What it does is absorb impact and reduce surface damage, which keeps many chips from spreading into cracks and cuts the risk of an expensive replacement.
Can the film be removed later?
Yes. It can be professionally removed without damaging the glass beneath. It is a non-permanent layer that protects the original surface.
